If you meet someone for a training session, you'll get to know them a little bit. But I don't want to know how far this person's cat precisions are or how many flips he can do in his run. I want to get to know this person beside the sport. If you have the opportunity to spend more time with people, then you get to know them a lot better! For example if go and eat something together or even better you can stay the night at this person's place. As more time you'll spend together, the more experience and knowledge you can share.
Of course I need money too and of course I need to work to earn it. My main income comes from live performances and video shoots. That's something I still can and want to do. The only difference now, that I'm on the road, is that I need to take time to travel back to where the job is going to be. Due to the fact that I have plenty of time now, it's easy to deal with that. Also I'm willing to take this on me cause it just feels like another adventure!
This is what happened last week. I had to fly back to Switzerland for two days because I had a job there with Free-Z. I joined team Free-Z over 4 years ago. Now I'm part of the company and responsible for everything around live performances and photo/video productions. I'm coordinating athletes, giving advice to the clients and do choreographies for shows. So I was responsible to go back to coordinate the rehearsals on Friday and perform the three outdoor shows on Saturday.
It felt kind of weird to be back in Switzerland after not even 2 weeks on the road. Even if my stay there was only two full days, I thought I won't see this country for a while. Now I'm back in Cologne, Germany again. Spending even more time with old and new friends. I feel how I slowly get enough from this concrete jungle life and that it's finally time to see the nature! There are still some cities I'm going to visit before I'll be out in Norway. That's why I'm planning to drive to the North Sea for the next few days, to have at least a little bit time off from the cities and hopefully I finally get to sleep in my new home - my car.
